I'm currently a Computer Graphics major at Saddleback College. I've been learning the ropes when it comes to design and have been playing around with software from the Adobe Suite and CAD programs.
Beginning Graphic Design
This course was an introduction to the fundamentals of design concepts that explored the organization of visual elements for graphic communication. Studio work included traditional and computer-generated assignments in design, layout, and typography. Semester project was designing elements for an elegant, fast-food Thai restaurant.
Typography
This course was an introduction to the basic principles of typography. The course was designed to give us an overview of the history of type and to enlighten us on how to identify and create excellent typography. Typographic skills were discussed and put into practice by means of in-class exercises and homework assignments.

Digital Layout & Design
A foundation course covering layout design for print and web publishing. The course covered typography, layout theory, pre-press production methods, and project management, emphasizing practical development techniques to produce digital visual images efficiently using Adobe In-Design.
